Analogue-sequencer

With this talk of logic and sync problems earlier...

I just want some computer software to multitrack on to.  Thats my primary concern. 

I like the interface of the latter versions of cubase (sx and the like) but most of these type of things will only act as a sync master when using midi clock, not as a sync slave.

Now id *really* *much* prefer to use the p3 as the clock master. 

Does anyone know of any software with a nice interface that will sync to external clock?  I believe acid will, but, and please dont ask me exactly why, but i find the unchangeable font that it uses hard to read.
