Analogue-sequencer

Thanks for all the discussion of the interface.  Very much 
appreciated.  

My next question has to do with using the P3 along with a 
computer sequencer.  My plan would be to send midi from the p3 
to Logic, then make a switch in the environment that would 
switch the midi data from being sent direct through to my synths, 
or switched to one of the tracks in Logic in case I wanted to 
record the data.  

Are people finding it nice and successful to use the P3 with their 
computer sequencers, ie do most tend to have some special 
sequences coming from the P3 and others from the computer, 
or do some use the P3 simply a midi data generator to the 
"sample" into their computers and edit into compositions, or do 
most find they just work with the P3?  I'm sure the answer to all 
of this is just - yes, to all of the above, but I'd like to hear more on 
this topic and people's workflow.

 I use my Kenton Pro-2000 quite a bit, and feel that I'd need it to 
receive data from the P3 (of course!) but also from my computer 
for sequences that require more detailed timing.  Ideally I'd also 
like to have sequences from Logic be very easy to transfer to 
tracks on the P3 for various reasons.
