Can't the Kenton retrofit receive poly aftertouch ? P3 doesn't have a MIDI send for poly a/t because I've never used it and no one's has ever asked for it. It is quite a data hungry thing to send too - you need a note and a pressure value, so it could in theory need two auxes to send a single message. However, since it would be pointless to send a message for a note that isn't already playing, maybe a "send poly a/t" event could send a message for the primary note in a step - so you would be able to pick out a single note in a chord for modulation. I can see a problem there regarding how synths handle poly a/t though - does the pressure value get reset when the note is released, or does the sending device need to reset the value when required ?
