When you record notes, if one note is held during a step, that is written to
the primary note.
If more than one note is held, the lowest note is written to the primary
note, and the rest to any available auxes.
If you add more notes on top of existing notes, the new notes are written
into the auxes in order.
So if you had 5 notes on a step, and you play a note note chord over that
step next time round, the notes and auxes C and D will still be active.
This can cause unexpected things to happen, especially with relative aux
notes.
But personally I really like to be able to record a chord in by holding it
for a whole bar with ties turned off, then playing in a 'chord memory' type
pattern by playing a new single note pattern to change all the primary
notes.
When you hold 'del' while recording, the main gate, and any aux notes are
turned off, but other auxes are left intact.

The aux notes also repeat.
However, relative aux notes dont repeat correctly, as I just noticed... ;-)
