Analogue-sequencer

Hi Colin,
i've had some hardware changes in my setup which has led to a different workflow, and I now find myself using the remote-control track switches and part switching quite a lot.
In the P3 RemCon pdf cc #18 is listed as 'multi-function track select', in an attempt to find out what exactly this cc does (haven't found an answer btw) I searched the groups archive, and came across a number of posts about more remote-control options you were looking to add and a few alterations/improvements you'd like to make to pattern edit mode;

As it's been over half a year since the latest beta (v28) has been released, and none of the stuff you mention in those posts has been implemented yet I was wondering what the current status of the beta v4 os was, and if a newer version is to be expected.

There's two things i'd personally really like to see: 
* remote control of the knobs in play mode
* a method (key-combo?) to have pattern edit mode's sculpt & randomize functions affect only the current bar in a pattern.

Lastly i'd just like to say that I was perfectly happy using OSv3 before I had the memX expansion, but since i've made the switch to v4 I have to say it's a lot more intuitive to work with, and I now understand why you chose to go the v4 road.. :)
