Hi Paul,
I guess the easiest and most helpful thing would be to see if you can sequence a hardware synth through Logic, using Cirklon?
Select a hardware synths track in the arrange, go to it's inspector setting and see if you can select Cirklon as its "midi input" so as to sequence it.
Logic to send MTC, Cirklon to receive MTC, to test the sync would also be helpful too.
