Dear Colin, Midi-ox is completely new to me, I just tried flashing with onlyone midi lead connected, I was assuming some sort of handshaking was required. I got no bad data at all! the display was flashing between something I couldn'tmake out and PGM OK @ nnnn So it's my own silly mistake and I apologise for any time wasting. > Hmm... Thank you Olimex. Sorry about that. > I'd check it with a multimeter to confirm if it is a short. > I'm told by various people that the makers of the second run do a lot > better on quality. It is a short and i shall remove it, it may account for a few oddities I may havebeen experiencing but that is probably down to me being confused. > Once you get it fixed ;-) > (the prize is a working P3) And what a prize! Paul blew me away with it when he took me through it all last weekend. Many thanks for all your help. cheers Keith http://home.freeuk.net/lowpass
