I'm mostly lurking, but if votes are being gathered, I concur with this. In 
the long run people will look at the strengths of the product having to do with 
its intended use, not so much the add-on capabilities.

I agree.
I have changed my opinion after reading a couple of comments. The P3 is, and
should stay, a sequencer.

hei

usualy i'm using my (sofware) sequencer for playing
cutoffs, resonanzes, releases and stuff.
its ok when the p3 cant do it, 
but on the other way it would be cool to edit a cutoff
in a playing loop. with other words if the p3 could
record the control data i'm doing live with a
midicontroller to the synth (yea, thats the rockin'
way)

however, i'm still a P3 fanatic

from logic to p3 to logic to synth and reverse

Did you know, you can already use the Sculpt function to do this? You
use the P3's data entry knob as opposed to recording incoming
controllers but it works pretty well.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
