P3 Keys

Folks, I've got a sample set of the key caps for the production P3 coming next week - exciting stuff ;-) These will be parchment white coloured keys, with engraved and infilled lettering in black. Font is 'Eurostile' - you can see a pdf of what they will look like here: http://www.colinfraser.com/p3/p3-labels.pdf I've gone for lettering on all keys including the step numbers. These are caps for Cherry MX keys, which will need a change to the PCBs to suit, so they cant be retrofitted to run one or two boards without some hacking and slashing. A set of keys will add around 35 ukp to the price of a kit - this is a bit more than a set of the Maplin keys would cost, but then they will look a lot more professional, and the Cherry action is lovely. I'm considering dropping support for the tact keys in the step and keypad locations, and only supporting multimec or standard tact switches for the mode switches. Cheers, Colin f
