Hi Colin,

Can you please tell me what the price of a built P3 is, including shipping to Australia?

Can't afford one at the moment, but would like to know how much I need to save up for one.

Thanks,
Simon

The converted US price is over AUD200 higher than the converted UK price -
remember you won't pay UK VAT on a unit exported outside the EU.
Please contact me direct for Aussie orders.

I'll need to get back to you shortly on the shipping.
I'm not sure when this was introduced, but the carriers I use are now using
'volumetric weight' when calculating shipping charges, if the volumetric
weight is higher than the actual weight. They use a formula based on the
dimensions of a package to calculate this weight.
This means that the general purpose boxes I've been using for shipping P3,
which are bigger than they really need to be, have a weight for billing
purposes of nearly 7 kg, when a shipped P3 only weighs about 3.3kg.
I need to confirm the pricing for custom sized boxes with a supplier next
week, and when I know they will be OK cost-wise, I'll be able to get prices
for shipping to various locations based on the minimum possible volume.

Cheers,
Colin f
