Who programmed the demo songs?

Who programmed the demo songs?

2005-07-24 by Jim Combs

I can¹t seem to find a credit for the demo sequences that came pre-loaded on
my P3. I¹ve initialized and reused all my banks except for Bank 9 which is
quite infectious and is doing some interesting aux stuff that I want to
learn from. I¹m assuming Mr. Nagle, but want to make sure I give credit
where credit is due;^)

They are indeed the work of Mr Nagle.
There's a pdf file with details of what's in there in the Yahoo files
section called P3Demo1.pdf
You can reload P3Demo1.syx if you want to get the patterns back.

BTW If you're seeing bank 9, that must mean you've switched to 12 bank mode,
so the patterns will be from bank 3 in the default 6 bank mode.

Cheers,
Colin f

Hehe. I deleted all of Paul's sequences, I prefer
an empty P3, sorry Paul, no hard feelings.

Be careful with that Novation KS Paul. ;)
Make sure you don't push the wrong button.

Good point. Another dumb aspect of its design: you can silence three
multitimbral parts by hitting one of the part buttons by accident. But
the worst thing, by far, is its insistence on receiving bank select
changes before it listens to ANY program change. Grrrrr... so nearly
perfect.

micron

2005-08-03 by Richard Scott

I wonder is anyone using an alesis micron with a p3? - I'm not after a lot of polyphony so i'm thinking this might be a nice little portable setup - any drawbacks?

You won't be dissapointed with a P3 and it's capabilities,
go on... you know you want to.

Cheers.
