Hi Colin I'd appreciate it if the mixer option could be extended to include other CC#s (and NRPNs) - I'd much rather have filter cutoffs for each channel than panning cheers Richard

Don't forget that you can assign any knob to send any MIDI CC already
without using the mixer. The User Guide features a useful tip for just
this function, although I acknowledge you have to have a pattern
running doing the assignments. It works well enough though and I use
it often.

thanks Paul, I have failed to achieve this so far. In fact despite reading your document more than once its one of things I still don't quite understand. Do I lose an Aux using the knobs in this way? Generally, I must admit the P3 is making me feel as stupid as the Andromeda and Nord Modulars have in the past... my brain hurts when I read about all those aux possibilties... I will prevail eventually though.... Richard

You do have to assign a knob to perform the function of another aux -
so you lose two auxes. Actually that tip was provided by Tom Adam as I
totally forgot to include one when knocking up the guide*.

Hehe, yeah, been there myself. I have actually simplified my entire
music-making setup, dropping the Nord modular and many of my more
complex synths. I actually find the P3 really simple and fast now - I
can even assign auxes during a performance without fear - but it did
take me a while to learn it thoroughly enough to do this.
Stick with it, it's worth the effort. And there *will* be a tutorial
video that may help with some of the deeper stuff.
Regards,
Paul
