I have one. It does some very cool things. However, in my experience, the midi control has some fatal flaws. I am looking to sell mine. I haven't used it in a few months, so I can't remember exactly what the problems are. But, somewhat vaguely...every time the Signal Arts receives a midi trigger, the focus on the sequencer changes to the sequence being triggered. However, if you are editing simultaneously with syncing to midi, you're suddenly editing a different sequence, so effectively you have to stop everything in order to continue editing. And there were worse problems that arose, again, having to do with similar issues - effectively making the midi control useless to me. I could probably find some of these issues explicitly described in old emails to the developer, but I pretty much gave up. He didn't seem too interested in fixing any of this - he did at first, but then, well, he seemed to lose interest. He did admit that these were problems, but that the midi control was somewhat of an afterthought, and that he hadn't really tested this stuff. another issue is that the backup is via midi sample dump (!). I couldn't get it to work, and he said that he had never actually tested it. Again - he seemed interested at first in changing to a regular sysex backup, but seemed to lose interest. If you are triggering it live, I don't think that the midi stuff is an issue. The various triggering modes are part of what makes this sequencer unique.
