hello, here a video from yesterday evening. I am now working, as you can see, with 2 maq 16/3. but they are awfull to program for long interesting and ever changing sequences. so I am looking for a new step sequencer to add at my setup. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3IvDMaOpDfE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kuBEOUVYTo enjoy the studio improv. vid.

I have three of them- I really ought to try that next time two of them are in the same studio.... :-) but yes, you need to get a p3! it has the immediacy of the maq, if you set it up right (i.e. knob-grab events, keyboard input...) but the depth of... well.... actually I don't think there is another machine in hardware or software that achieves the same as the p3. duncan/r.m.i. (p.s. did you enjoy the eindhoven experience?)

Does the MAQ not have FTS built-in?

We enjoyed Eindhoven a lot, good to meet interesting people and hear good music! It was our first live concert, we played over 2hours. and we made a double live album of it :-) (spam :-)) http://www.ambientlive.com/albums/dsm_elive.htm Maybe we play next year in Great Brittain. --- In analogue-sequencer@yahoogroups.com, "duncan" <ferrograph@...> wrote: > > >>hello, here a video from yesterday evening. no, dieter doepfer and the him "inspiring" kraftewerk guys didn't thought of that possibility when build the first black MAQ also teh silver version after words didn't have such feature ....erm very practical guys aren't they ;-) longer ago I sold my MAQ to get a P3 and never looked back :-) Am 16.11.2008 um 20:38 schrieb Ditton33: > Does the MAQ not have FTS built-in?
