new lcd looks nice in my P3

Hi Colin, I got the lcd you send yesterday and installed it. Thanks for that. I thought I wasn't going to like it as much as the high contrast OLED but I think the complimentary color actually looks better with the P3 front panel.

I also upgraded to v4, and played with it for a few hours.. I like it a lot, and I'm wondering why I waited so long...
I did the flash procedure to v4 a few times with the same result:
CHK FAIL=51EBboot flash
when I boot the P3 works fine as far as I can tell. Should I be concerned?

There was a problem with an earlier version of the P3 bootloader which is
the likely cause of this error.
Due to some inaccurate information in the datasheet, a control bit for the
CPU is set wrongly, which prevents the bootloader from writing to the very
top of the internal flash memory.
With a firmware image over a certain size, the last few blocks will not
write, and you get a checksum error.
The P3 may still boot and run, but if it attempts to access any of the data
stored in the unwritten blocks, weird things may happen.

Download and run the bootloader update from Yahoo files.
The sysex file is here:

There are instructions in:
