Still it's the closer I know of so far. trouble is the mecanics in the Ondes (the ring part) are overcomplicated Guess is ASys/Bob found it reasonable not to reproduce everything > Also, the concert Ondes had a full sized keyboard. The Ondes have 67 keys, the FC 56, from my harpsichord experiences (54-64-67 keyboards are the common uses, 6x keys are necessary for 18th century music, this said you can play them with difficulties on 54 keyboards), it's not that dramatic ;) Only real piano players find less than 88 notes a personal attempt to spoil their art ;))) (another religious argument ;) Guess the choice was to use most of the other controlers parts Or a larger keyboard would be much too far fetched price wise > The French Connection does not. As said on the ASys site a close aproximation is a sine, this said, I don't know the "defaults" a sine should have to be really close to a RCA valve theremin or an Ondes Have an idea? Theory in heterodyne is that the resultant wave is sine But I'm sure there's much more into it. I should look at a theremin outpout on an oscilloscope maybe (easier to come by than an Onde) > A minimal setup, but all my current budget allows. More soon. It has been a > blast so far.
