Doepfer modules in AS case ?

Doepfer modules in AS case ?

2009-04-07 by papazionlyone

Hi everybody

I'd like to install a few Doepfer modules in a AS case, using AS PSU.

The only power adaptater I found is to install AS modules in Doepfer cases : http://www.analoguesystems.co.uk/index2.htm.

Can someone let me know if it works in reverse please ? (I think the answer is "no")

If it doesn't, where can I find adapter cables to install Doepfer modules in AS cases (in Europe preferably) ?

Many thanks for your replys.

Cheers,
Constantin

Hi again

I forgot to say that my RS cases are old ones, PSU board only proposes ASys connectors.

No other solution than replace or add a PSU board ?

Thanks
Constantin

I believe you can use the same adapters, as they just establish connections
for the circuits. There is no directionality inherent in them, since they
are simply wires routed between the right things.

Correct, the adapter cables just reconnect the right pins and sockets.

I'm using an ASys adapter cable to run a Doepfer module from an Asys socket right now. The cable was described as the reverse. Be sure to double check nothing is connected upside down.
