Pitchbend 14bit Faders

2011-01-05 by Emre Tanner

Hello dear members,
I am new to this group and would like to say hello to everybody!
This place has helped me a lot already and I´m feeling more and more happy
with my two BCF2000, THANK YOU!
I have one question though:
I´m using my units to control Cubase5, but NOT in Mackie Mode but rather in
B Control mode using presets (made with GREAT BC Manager) with Mackie
Protocol MIDI mapping. In cubase itself I connect my BCFs as Mackie Controls
which is working fine but I would like to go a step further:

The faders send pitchbend data but in BC Manager I can set the range only
from 1-127. So I put out a text file of the preset and changed the faders
parameters:

I deleted the "easypar" part and put in
.minmax 0 16383
.tx $E0 val0.6 val7.13 (for first fader)

Well, this way cubase indeed responds to fader movements with much better
resolution, BUT the BCF2000´s faders doesn´t catch up with movements within
cubase, so it´s a oneway communication.
Any help to overcome this problem is much appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Emre
