Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

With interest I've followed this group, since the bcr is recently added to my studio of vintage gear. I've made a couple of cc-based presets for a SCI Sixtrak, a Siel EX80 and Waldorf Pulse among others. My ambition is to load a couple of sysex based presets in the BCR (such as the Kawai K4 and K3, ROland JV880 and DSI Evolver. Unfortunately I've been unable to load the presets. The BCR does seem to 'load' them but there is no reaction from any of the synths when I tweek any of the knobs. Cubase Studio is also not noticing any incoming midi data. I've got the BCR on USB mode 1.

Any idaes what I might be doing wrong?
