Re: [bc2000] BCR2000 - USB 1.1 or 2.0?

Hi there,

I'm fairly certain it's more important to make sure that your USB hub isn't using too old a protocol. For instance, you wouldn't want to run a 2.0 device on a 1.1 hub.

For most applications USB 2.0 should suit you fine. I think one of the only instances you might want a 3.0 hub is if running an USB audio interface instead of Firewire.

Hi all,

I'm going to be purchasing a powered hub to run my BCR2000 and Launchpad simultaneously for live gigs. One of the big things with hubs is that they should match the USB type of the incoming devices as closely as possible.

The Launchpad is USB 1.1. Does anyone know if the BCR2000 is USB 1 or 2?

Thanks very much,
