im using my bcr2000 (with bcmenager) to control my hardware synths - and it works quite good
i menaged my presets for my DSI Mopho, Yamaha DX27, Roland D-20, Akai Miniak (as far as it goes:) but i have 2 questions
1. how to set up midi connections and mode (u1-u4) and trough ports to edit presets in bc menager and use them right away. at the moment, i change to u1, edit preset, quit bcmenager, change to s1, try my edits, change back to u-x, edit again.... and every time i have to quit bcmenager and start it again. is there a way to have bcmenager connected and sending the knobs/buttons to my hardware synths in the same time?
2. im trying to set up some extra controls for my Roland MC-808 - and i have problem figuring out how to set up complex Roland Sysex for some oscilator/tone controls (actually tone/osc 1-4 pcm-waveform, coarse tune) - roland sysex uses more bytes for some values.
can somebody help me to build an example sysex line for lets say tone1 waveform - than i can modify it for the rest of controls i need
