Thanks for your response! I hear what you're saying but I think (again, I'm looking for info so I'm not that knowledgeable about Isotonik/Sigabort) you're wrong about the one-trick pony aspect. True, the Sigabort script is a dedicated Ableton Live script. Seems pretty awesome having all (or most) native plugins pre-mapped but I think -and this was part of my original question- you need the tool PrEditor to use the Sigabort Live Script and it does mention mappings for Kontakt and Diva -which are 3rd party VST's- so this makes me think PrEditor works similair to BC Manager in that regard. I only work with Ableton Live now. Like I mentioned I am a musician first and when I discovered the virtual DAW environment I went crazy (in a positive way) wanting to read about every possible plugin and own every piece of hardware and lost months deciding on a proper DAW and all. But it was a rabbithole for me so I decided I should settle for one DAW (Live) and every piece of hardware I own is second hand or B-stock (musician = poor ;)). So although logically this would mean I'd go for the (free) BC Manager I find all the technical stuff daunting enough as it is and if PrEditor would be only a little bit easier I'd choose that so I'd really like some more info about this tool. I was hoping the original poster would chip in as well, since he was the one raving about it ;) In any case I do appreciate all the feedback as this group seems to be the go-to place for BCR/BCF anywhere and it's nice to see people are keeping it alive.
