First of, all I made a typo; the plant is actually 2 million sq ft. and the number of employees is now over 3500. I personally know someone who went on the factory tour in Behringer City earlier this year. He was impressed. There was also a write-up in AudioTechnology Mag (Australia) last year. A musician responded in a letter to the editor, expressing concern about conditions for the workers in China. As a result, he was invited by Behringer to a factory tour in March this year. The editor of AT mag also went on that tour (as did a group of dealers from around the world) and made a 2 part video. It's available on youtube - just search for 'behringer factory' (most info is in part 2). While just checking youtube, I noticed that behringer now have their own promo video. Then again, with every corporation building plants in China at bargain labor rates, maybe they do have that many people - BUT, I would be surprised. > > Has anyone reading here ever seen these facilities?
