BCR problems

2007-12-21 by k0mp0

My BCR has done what I expected might happen...

My BCR is in U-3 mode which means it can not accept MIDI from the rear
ports. The preset and system buttons have CCs set up on them which
means I can't change my BCR to S-1 - S-4 because I can't get to
Edit>Global mode. This means I really need to fix the USB driver now.
I have no idea what's up with it, all I know is that I can't get SysEx
to send to it. Otherwise, MIDI works fine to/from it. The only error
message I've seen from the USB driver has been "The I/O device
reported an I/O error", which shows up every time I turn it on when I
have the 1.2.1.3 driver installed ( - even on a fresh copy of
windows.) Can anybody help?!

The last thing I did was to restore the factory default presets, then
I wanted to send one preset to it. This came up with a small r on the
top left of the display but proceeded to accept the preset. I tried to
send it again, but the same thing happened, even with another old
preset that should be fine.

When I try to send anything to it now, there is no display of any kind
of input, and there is no change on the LCD display. The green USB
light is on though.

If anyone could possibly help me here I'd really appreciate it!

Regards,
-Ryan
