Hi rpcfender, Thanks for your help, but this unit is way more stuck than you think! If I could use the system buttons to get to edit>global mode I would be able to change it to S-3 and have no problem sending a new SysEx to it through the MIDI-IN port at the rear. The thing is, the system buttons and the preset buttons are all changed to CCs so I can't change to any other mode or any other preset. This, coupled with the fact that the broken USB driver does not let the BCR receive SysEx over the USB MIDI port, makes my unit stuck in U-3 mode, unable to change. I can't send a new SysEx to it, or change the preset, or reset the unit holding the EDIT and EXIT buttons, so I'm looking for some other way to change the preset on it. I opened up the unit today and tried taking the flash chip out and putting it back again. This didn't reset the flash in any way and the unit is operating just as it was before I took it apart, so, no luck there. Maybe I can get a new CPU board or a new flash chip from Behringer, but I won't be very happy paying for a replacement part for something that was broken when I bought it. I should have send it for repairs as soon as I found the problem, but I thought it was a windows/USB port/driver error. Anyway, I'll see what Behringer say about sending me a replacement part but if anybody can think of a way to change to a new preset on this, please let me know.
