Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Hi all,

having now hooked up my shiny new BCF and BCR and loaded new firmware
and USB MIDI drivers, I am immediately experiencing problems that I'm
hoping someone might take the time to help me sort out.

1) BCF is set up as a Mackie controller in Cubase SX3. Controllers
seem to respond as they should - except faders always smack back down
to the bottom every time I move them up. MIDI tracks, audio tracks,
with or without any content in the track - same thing. Baffling.

2) BCR - I have NI Pro-53 so thought that would be a good place to
start tweaking and learning. Only problem is, Pro-53 doesn't respond.
This is with the Behringer Pro-53 preset loaded, and with Pro-53 MIDI
set up to recognize the BCR. On the other hand, the preset for AAS
Lounge Lizard (which I also have) worked perfectly. Much to learn here.

3)The BIG question for me I think is - how will I set up interaction
between BCR and plugins that have no MIDI setup function, e.g.
compressors, effects, and EQs? Should I be okay as long as the plugin
has MIDI learn? I think my big point of confusion is, how will the BCR
"know" what open plugin it is meant to affect?

Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated.
