Interestingly, *all* connections are either soldered or hot-glued! (So
I couldn't *remove* and reseat anything.)

You can break the glue, it should dislodge fairly easily,
or carefully warm it with a heat gun, but I haven't found that necessary.

The hot glue is a great thing. These units can be treated roughly
being dragged around by gigging musicians and the cables and ICs do
come loose.

I would recommend that unless your units are only ever treated gently
in a studio, if you remove the glue, re-hot-glue the ICs and connectors.
