BCF2000 Newbie....

BCF2000 Newbie....

Yeah. This is the last stop on the train before I send this ultra
confusing crap back to it's evil makers. I don't have the patience or
time for this. The only programs that I have gotten it to work with
are Pro Tools and Sonar. I cannot get it to work with Cubase SX3
(which is my main program) at ALL. It seems to work out of the box with
Reason, but I cannot modify any controls.

I just don't know how, I don't understand all the language. When I
manage to make a breakthrough, I seem to get more confused. I've
called Behringer numerous times and one fix just brings up another
thing to fix. I've yet to try it with Ableton Live. I'm so confused,
that I don't even know what to ask here. I downloaded countless .syx
files, update utilities, etc. and the BC manager (which I cannot use
because I understand nothing in it or the manual). I don't know.
Should I keep it or send it back?

I think you've already answered this question for yourself:
"I don't have the patience or time for this."

If you don't understand the language enough to ask the questions you
need to, maybe a Novation controller would be a more appropriate
controller for you? Their AutoMap feature seems to be as
user-friendly as these kind of things can get currently, albeit at a
price ;-)

I'd recommend calling Sweetwater Sound if you're thinking of getting
one because they are probably the most capable of offering the kind of
support you need before you buy as well as after.

Best of luck.
Tim

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
