Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

I have had this BCF2000 for a month or two now. I was using preset 1 in
Ableton Live. It was sort of working but the 16 buttons and 4 lower buttons
were set to toggle on and off. I want to use them to trigger clips and the
start, stop and other transport features in Live.  I went in and manually
changed the button to MMC and now they do not work any more. I downloaded
the Java app and reset them back to the default setting. Ableton still will
not see the buttons properly. And after I put Ableton into Midi config mode
the BCF2000 stops sending Midi data but can still receive it from Ableton. I
upgraded from 1.07 to 1.10 to see if that would help but it still does not
work properly. I would like to know if there is a way to reset the device
back to factory default and what the proper setting is for the buttons to be
used to trigger instead of toggle?
