Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Has anyone heard or used this?

Not sure exactly how it works etc. Saw it on ebay.

Yes. I've got it.

It wrappes your VST plugins, so that they are MIDI learn capable.
You can assign your hardware controller directly to the wrapped plugins or you can use the MCX virtual device as a mediator between your hardware controller and the warapped plugins. The assignments can be stored as a default for each plugin.

It's a bit similar to Novation's Automap, just without the automatic assignments (that do not work very well...), but it works with every kind of MIDI controller, not just with the Novation stuff.

I guess the main thing for me is,

If I had something all setup and working then added an audio track to the top of my project it will still work?

It has nothing to do with the Generic Remote and is also not for controlling the mixer. MCX is for controlling VST plugins via MIDI, it works the way like such plugins, that already have an inbuild MIDI learn function.
