Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

hi guys, does anybody know what the time code below serial number stands for? i ask this because mine says 1003. does this mean 10-(october) 03-(2003). its suppossed to be new and if 03 means 2003 it doesnt make any sense to me. thanx for your help in advance

So the number will be continuous they put the year first

else it would be
0110 Jan 10
0210 Feb 10
..
1110
1210 Dec 10
0111 Jan 11
0211 Feb 11

My BCR is 0408 - an old machine.
Yours was made March 2010
