using my BCR2000 with my Korg DW6000

Hi All,
my roommate just informed me that I can control my DW6000 with my BCR2000.
I downloaded to files (DW6000.BC2 and DW6000.SYX) from this group in hopes of doing this but I'm at a stand still due to my lack of know-how.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do with these files, my Mac won't recognize them.
Sorry if this is vague, but it's all I can say at this point.

thanks

The "DW6000.BC2" file is for my PC editor, so you would need a PC emulator on the Mac as well as the editor program from the Files area (or Mark's great editor from his web site).

The "DW6000.syx" file is the same preset but as a "system exclusive" (sysex) file that most DAWs should be able send.
Are you using Logic of something on the Mac?

Connect your Midi out from the Mac to the Midi input of the DW6000 and send the sysex file to the synth.
Should be "job done".

All the best
