Casio

Hello all. Thanks for the great support from those that have assisted me in the past.
I've recently acquired a casio cz5000. I'm using my bcr with my dw8000 and mks50. Works perfectly! Now how do I setup the bcr to work with the casio. In the files section there is only a text file. I'm running on a Mac btw using Logic Pro. I'm familiar with how to setup sysex dumps from to, but I have no idea how to make a sysex patch from scratch...
Thanks!

hi bioelectric,

what a good choice :) i got a cz5000 three weeks ago, and if it's of any help, i sorted out the sequencer, the wiring of the mt-connector and made a better version of the manual. you can find it at:
http://www.tinyloops.com/doc/casio_cz-5000/

the cz5000 manual is very short about the midi implementation, i haven't found out yet if the cz5000 receives cc messages. anyway, the sequencer in the cz5000 is loads of fun to work with.

enjoy!
warm regards, gerd

Hi. Thank you for your reply.
Definitely some cool info on your site.
Thank you for deciphering the mt cable!
I can now share some patches with a friend that has a cz1. I'll be building two cables. One for each of us.
Cheers!

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
