BCR2000 and Mackie Control Emulation - Question

BCR2000 and Mackie Control Emulation - Question

2007-11-15 by acki148

Here is my question regarding the mce and the bcr2000:
Is it possible to just use the Plugin Control?

I mean i wanna keep my existing live template/setup (instant mapping
in live) PLUS Plugin Control with Mackie Control...
this is just whats missing in my live djing setup... I wanna have one
Pushbutton assigned assigned to entering control the plugins of the
selected track! nothing less and nothing more... so i can set my own
controls on the other banks of the push encoders that are left and not
the ones from the mackie control preset.

I'd guess that the following approach might work:

In Live, specify *two* control surfaces as MIDI inputs; let's say the
MCU, and the other "instant mapping" one. The MCU is assigned port
1, "instant mapping" port two. Now, in your BCR patch, set the "MCU
controls" to port one, the others ("instant mapping") to port two.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
