1) Shepard Function Generator: 8 triangle waves and 8 sines, each one
offset by 45 degrees. Doepfer makes one, but it also has an
unnecessary Midi mode, and converting to a larger front panel would
strictly suck. A Rate knob and/or cv would be nice.
2) Eprom-switcher daughter board. Use links to change eprom style
(the same style as the original, though -- or maybe not), and insert
a switch where needed for that style. I'm not 100% sure if this would
be as configurable as I'd imagine, but maybe. Then you could use it
on CGS WaveBanks, DrumTraks, Linn Drums, etc.
As for preconfigured modules: I prefer to build from the pcb. My
parts stock is getting pretty huge, and I like to build.
