woah, mouser quit stocking the 4046. that sucks. They have an NTE part
there, I would expect it to work fine, but I haven't tried it. In case
you don't know, NTE makes replacement parts. I usually stay away from
them, partly because of the price, but I have used some NTE parts in
modules in the past. I would pay the $2 extra to avoid shipping charges
and ordering from another shop.

I'm not totally sure on the trimmers. well, I'm just not sure what
footprint is used in Ken's PCBs. It seems that it can handle some
different sizes. So, I'm fairly certain this one will work: 652-3306F-1-204
note, you can probably use a a 250K trim pot which may be more common.
