I don't like the idea of using pots to hold the PCB
to the panel. If you move the modular around, for gigs or whatever, enough
jarring can cause solder joints to break. Repaired many amps where this
was the case.

One way is to use the pots themselves to secure a bracket or sub-panel to
the front panel. If you plan to use some sort of covering material on the
panel, countersunk bolts are also an option.
