CGS silkscreened panels available now

2006-08-03 by tsomneevich

Hello again group,

Sorry to keep hassling you that aren't interested in this (and for cross-posting!) I meet w/
my web guy tomorrow and hopefully go live w/ the site this weekend. Meanwhile...

There are five silkscreens ready, listed below. 1U are $20, 2U are $25 and 3U are $30.
Please keep in mind that these panels are about 1/64" too small, and you may need to file
the mounting holes a tiny bit if using rails! I'll supply mounting screws to atone for this
hassle :)
All are MOTM format for now. DotCom in a couple months. 25 new CGS designs in a
couple months. Much fun. Cabinets soon. Oakley and Tellun in a couple months. Panels
are shippable worldwide (not treated w/ bad chrome).

1U Optic CV Processor: uses CGS mixer board. Schematic to be on site soon. Mixer is
wired as three reversible attenuators. Optic cell goes on top (use an LED bezel for
mounting). Controls are +/-Offset, +/-CV1/optic, +/-CV 2. Jacks are CV1 (normalled to
optic cell), CV2, CV3 (unattenuated, usually for 1v/oct), Output.

2U Cynare: includes switches for each filter response, and two optic cells selectable via
switch: 1/off/2. These affect the 'shimmer'.

2U Utility LFOs

2U BiNTic Filter: uses a modified Mixer, or Tellun's MUUB-2 PCB, to get square and saw
waves from the oscillator. No linear FM. I may do a BiNTic Expander on the next run, which
will include linear FM, PWM on the VCO, and VC Res using my VR Resistor PCB.

3U Wave Multipliers: includes a ring mod, unspecified -- a 4030 MS-20 style on the proto
section of the PCB? A passive real one from Ken Stone? You choose.

So there you go. Readymades will be ready once they're all tested, in stock, photo'd, and
sound sampled -- a week or two. Kits shortly after.

Cheers,
Scott

Scott,

I've seen a couple of posts from you about these now, but
you fail to mention on which website one can actually see and
order them!

I tried figuring it out from your e-mail, but that's just
an anonymous hotmail address (which is not good for
business I can tell you...)

cheers
Louis

Hiya Louis,

Yeah, a site would be nice; I meet w/ my web guy tonight and we tackle the
Paypal "add to cart" scripting together -- should be easy, but... you know.
I really want it up this weekend; we'll see.
www.bridechamber.com

contact@...

Also, everyone may not know me, but I'm the moderator (almost typed
'modulator'!) of the modularsynthpanels group. There are a couple pics up in
the Files section there, under "The Bridechamber". That group gets the most
wide-ranging notices, since I try to keep to CGS stuff on this list, Oakley
stuff on their list, etc.

I'll let everyone know when the site is live.

Cheers,
Scott

If I remember correctly, paypal has an app on their website that will
generate the script for you after you plug in some values for the
cart... Sorry, I don't have a link... :(

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
