CGS 65 VCA question.

CGS 65 VCA question.

2007-10-12 by Dave Kendall

Hi

I've built a green REV 1.1 board, and plan to include a DPDT toggle to
switch between dirty and clean.
As per the info on the CGS site, either the 330K resistor and solid
line link *OR* 330K in the unlabelled slot and the broken line are
connected.
( someone posted here a while back that they'd had success with a
switch....)

Question is, do pins 1 + 2 of the 1SH24b need to be swapped too?. At
the moment, they're connected to the additional "swapped" pin 1 and 2
holes provided on the rev 1.1 pcb.
Will the tube come to any harm if they're left there, whilst the other
connections are switched?

cheers,
Dave

You will be fine leaving pins 1 and 2 in the swapped position. No harm will
come to the tube.
