Trafo for CGS66 Power Supply

Trafo for CGS66 Power Supply

2008-11-01 by alphajuno28

I'm building the powersupply CGS66 and was able to get a
2x26v/1x52volt toroidal transformer for free.
So now is my question, is it possible to use the transformer for the
powersupply without burnin' my circuit off?

It would be more trouble than it is worth. It would be pushing the
regulators to their maximum ratings, would require higher voltage caps, and
larger heatsinks.
