Build questions on Dual LPG

Build questions on Dual LPG

2014-01-10 by zathrus1

Hi Ken,

I'm building the LPG, and had a couple of questions.

1) In the section that says "Suggest value changes from Peter" - Do we install both the link AND the 68k resistor? They're in different colors in the drawing, so I wasn't sure if they were different options, or if both need to be installed. Also - is there any indication what this change actually does?

2) There's a section that talks about a 470K resistor. It says " You can experiment with values anywhere from 1 meg to o ohm (resistor omitted). ". 0 ohms and omitting a resistor don't seem to be the same thing, so I'm bit confused. In the part where Peter says to stuff the two LPGs differently, should we omit the resistor on one, or short it out?

Thanks
Gary

Installing both is what it says to do.

Yes, resistor omitted is definitely NOT 0 ohms! it would be "resistor
replaced with link".
