I am a newbie, and I purchased the PFP in the hopes that it would
correct the color problems with my printer. I have an HP Photosmart
7350. I have calibrated my monitor with the Huey. I went into the
properties for the printer and chose "Manual" for the color
management and then just removed all choices for a profile, because
that was the only way I could see to "turn off" color management in
this printer.

Removing printer profiles at the OS level does nothing to stop color adjustments at the driver level. You need to go into the advanced driver properties and find the one that turns off color correction at the driver. It may be under ICC/ColorSync/ICM as a subsetting of "None" or something similar.
