Yes, there are new sets of sliders that will offer more precision in editing, and you can also use a full set of Photoshop spline curves, with edits to the global curve, and/or any of the RGB channels. This is in addition to all other editing tools, so you can add shadow detail, tweek the ramp to white, and still apply a curve set as well.
