I do my Page Setup and then go to Print Target and select Print Settings from the pull down menu then go to media type. When I select Premium Semigloss Photo Paper a window pops up and tells me to select a file to delete from the popup below, click finished when you are done deleting files. Using PrintFix Pro v2.0, Mac w/OSX 10.4 I have printed targets and profiled my Epson 4000 and 7600 and have had no problems with any media settings. Yes, this is a known bug with... not exactly our software, but one of the tools we use building our software. It shows up only with a few of the newest pro Epson drivers on the Mac. Until we are given a fix for this, the work around is easy enough: Go to Photoshop, trigger the print dialog, and configure your printer settings as desired. Save these as a driver set, and name appropriately. Now select that set from PrintFIX PRO for printing, instead of attempting to change the advanced driver settings directly from there. Since most people only use a few papers, and at consistant settings, this isn't much of a problem, unless you are trying to test a series of media settings one after another to determine the optimal one for a given paper. We've only had a couple reports of this issue occurring, so there are probably other factors involved in triggering it. C.
