(The bug is that, for some reason, making changes to popups and controls in some of the large format Epson drivers is causing the commands that are generated to "leak through" the OSX print dialog and they're ending up in PFP itself, which is running beneath the OSX print dialog and shouldn't be seeing any of this.) There isn't a fix yet, but there is a workaround: Go into an application where this doesn't happen (as in, anything other than PFP); set up your 3800 driver the way that you want; and save the config into a named preset in the OSX printer dialog.
