Hello Bob, Thanks for the fast reply. I must to admit that i followed one of your posts on Dpreview already and tried your technique (on a desperate evening ;-) ..mainly because i wanted to remeasure my print to see if i can find out what happen in the print) ,but i failed with all the Lab color space, RGB values and specially the adjustment sliders (magenta, greens, blues yellows.......). I hope that i just do something wrong in the profiling process. Printed two B&W pictures with original Ink Paper combination and they look o.k. I am not expert to judge and they are sure nothing Gallery quality. But they look Black and white. Now with the new Ink Paper Combination and profiling i print in Black & Green. Sended my measurement file to David Miller. Thank you very much for your reply!! --- In colorvision_group@yahoogroups.com, "rschoner" <rschoner@...> wrote: > > Hi, > > I went through a similar experience with a slight magenta cast on B&W > with Epson R1800; the earlier version of the R1900.
