___I've been using Datacolor products and advocating them for a decade (or longer). You really shouldn't be treating long-standing customers with such a cavalier attitude. At least the team in Switzerland were civil in their reply. If you don't want to suggest possible workarounds that's fine. Just be gracious about it.
Attitude can be difficult to perceive in email. I was not being sarcastic, but stating our policy, and my recommendations. 32 bit installs appear to be working, but I don't expect that will assist you much with your Win7-64 situation. We are also looking into giving users more control over what language they install in future installers, which might possibly have some bearing.

David: I'm just testing Win7, I am not relying on it as my primary OS. I wasn't looking for a solution from Datacolor, just some suggestions of what I might do if this were Vista64 with the same problem. Based on that, I might be able to develop a workaround for my system which, in turn could help other beta testers. The sooner we can get apps running under Win7 - even with workarounds - the sooner Windows users will embrace *those* products because they know they will work. Our feedback and our success is just as important for the app developers as it is for Microsoft. I've been using Datacolor products and advocating them for a decade (or longer). You really shouldn't be treating long-standing customers with such a cavalier attitude. At least the team in Switzerland were civil in their reply.
