Spyder2 to 3 Pro due to Rosetta

I have Spyder2 Pro (2.2.-5)  installed and Spyder3Print - can I upgrade to Spyder3 to get Universal Binary or will I have an issue with either the licence or the sensor? 

I can leave a Snow Leopard partition in place if I can't and then use the profile in Lion, I suppose.
