Datacolor User to User Support Group.

I am using Spyder 3 Print 4.0 and print with a Canon ipf8100. I am trying to profile Epson Premium Luster and I have printed the Media Setting Check print using the Special media types 1 thru 5 -5 being maximum laydown of ink-which use photo black ink.The gentleman in the bottom strip on the right looks too dark but I can`t see a difference between setting 1 and 5. Setting 5 puts down more ink than 1.When I print an image using a profile made with setting 3 for instance- aren`t shadow details defined by me in photoshop and not the profile anyway?
