I suggest she determine how to get her display to 300 candelas, or there abouts, with no calibration or profiling involved to confuse the process. If the display won't do that, then the issue is with the display. If her display won't get brighter than 110 (which is an ideal level for color managed work in a dim environment, by the way, but won't be satisfying to many users, especially if they are obliged to work in brighter environments), then she should contact LG about how to get it brighter, or how to get it replaced. Even if she is willing to work at 110 candelas, she would probably like more headroom, to be assured the display will be usable over time...
